Undertook the design installation and commissioning of two 180Kw intelligent free cooling chillers

We supported the existing Data hall using temporary chillers and air handling units, we carried out extensive environmental logging initially to select the equipment to support the hall, after the temporary system was install a program of proving was undertaken before any works were undertaken

The existing R22 chillers were then decommissioned, removed and two new Intelligent free cooling chillers installed, Holborn carried out the turn key package works which involved:
provision of temporary N+I air conditioning to support data alldecommissioning and removal of the existing chiller’sconstruction of galvanised steel gantrynew insulated chilled water pipeworklocal area network control systemupgrade of the pumping systemintegration onto the site BMssystem pressure testedpipework flushed / chemically cleaned and doused with glycolcomplete system water balance & commissioned

 
The new system then went through a series of proving test whilst supporting the data hall, then upon completion of the tests, supported the data hall for a further 72 hours before the temporary cooling installation was removed 
 
Contract was completed 31st March 2011
